The spring system features a single tier of 1,716 hand-nested, calico-pocketed Vanadium steel coils in a King size, with each spring in its own pocket to respond independently to weight. Vanadium steel maintains tension longer than standard carbon steel, contributing to consistent support across the surface. Available in four tensions—Soft, Medium, Firm, and Extra Firm—and King sizes can be split for partners with different preferences. Two rows of hand side-stitching reinforce the border coils, while hand-tufting with felt washers anchors fillings to prevent lateral shift and keep the sleeping surface consistent over the years.
